Major Milestone Achieved! 100 Pounds Gone!

WooHoo!!!! As of this morning, I’ve lost 100 lbs! I was beginning to wonder if this day would come as I’ve really been battling a bit of a plateau lately. To mark this occasion, I’m going to post a first pic.
The before shot was taken at the end of 2006 and was me at (or close to) 278 lbs.

I think I look sad in the before shot and I know how I was feeling back then - depressed, tired, unhealthy, a bit hopeless.
It’s amazing that now, almost 16 months later, I feel like a completely different person. I can honestly say that I’ve never felt better or more fit than I do at this time. I know that I still have 40+ lbs to go, but the energy and zest for life that I feel now will carry me through to my ultimate goal…I feel confident in that!

Did walk pretty much daily at the beach in Charleston

Did NOT count calories…all things considered, did pretty well. More desserts and drinks than normal!

- had a blast in Charleston - wish I would have reached my 100 lb mark before, but oh well
- hoping that time away and then getting right back to it will finally break the plateau I seem to be on
