May PM Challenge Invitation! (May 11-24)

May PM ChallengeJoin me and a bunch of awesome friends on Facebook for a special 14 day challenge!

What: A commitment to accountability when it comes to eating (NOT eating!) at night!

When: May 11-24, 2013

What you need to participate:

  • the desire to create change in your life
  • the determination to stick with it for 14 days
  • the heart to encourage others involved in the challenge

Why I Think This Challenge Is For You:

  • This is a PERSONAL challenge – YOU decide what YOUR accountability challenge is for the evening. It might be a certain cut-off time, no eating after dinner or only eating a certain type of food after dinner.
  • Getting a handle on the night time eating is a personal goal of mine that I would like to exercise some more discipline with
  • I am struggling a bit with this as I adjust to life in Thailand. My dinner time tends to vary here so I think my main goal will that if I do eat something after dinner, it will be fruit. ;)

Assignment:

  • Read the post “What Could You Change in 30 Days?” if you’ve not done so already – for this one, it will be 14 days – but same concept!
  • Be sure to “like” our Facebook page here if you’ve not done so already and say hello there.
  • If you’ve not done so, sign up with your email address to the right of this post (or on the Facebook page at top)

  • Mark your calendar for a start date of Sat. May 11. (so our official check-in will be the morning of the 12th)
  • NOTE: Feel free to jump in whenever you like! :)

How It Will Run:

  • Each morning I will post the check-in report for the previous night on the Facebook page starting with Sun. May 12 (this will be for Sat. night). I will also post a reminder on Sat. when we will be starting.
  • You can post your success (or challenge) in the comments section there.
  • We can also get some great discussion going regarding tips for dealing with the urge to snack.
  • I will not be posting here at the blog every day so the best way to follow along is via the Facebook page.
  • This is meant to be a fun way to be accountable to one another and create some true change in our habits over the next 14 days.
  • I’m excited about this and I hope you are too!
